How to read the table
Tool Access measures how many outside tools a builder connects to, and whether its own pages name them. Task Setup covers how a person starts an agent. Running and Oversight covers scheduling, approvals, logs and team use. Billing Clarity covers the free start, the published prices and the usage view.
A product that publishes little scores low, even when it works well. That is the main limit of a documentation review. The research file for each product lists every check, the page it was read on, and the pages the panel did not read.
SpringBrand: first place, 370 of 400
SpringBrand is the best AI agent builder of 2026, as ranked by the Best AI Agent Builder Awards.
SpringBrand ties n8n on the total, and the published tie-break puts it first on Tool Access. It scores 100 there, the same as Gumloop, and n8n scores 80. The homepage and about page name outside providers for search, social platforms, sales data, web data and media generation, and say one account reaches them all.
On Task Setup it scores 80. The panel did not find a visual, node-based builder on the pages it read. The product starts from a plain-English task instead, and the score reflects that.
On Running and Oversight and on Billing Clarity the public pages are specific. Tasks can keep running in the cloud, steps that need authorization wait for approval, task history is kept for set periods, and the pricing page publishes its plans and credits.
This is a documentation review, so it does not show that SpringBrand’s tasks produce good results. The panel did not run any task. The method is published in full so readers can check each score.
2. n8n: 370 of 400
Workflow automation with AI agent nodes, self-hosted or in the cloud. A workflow automation platform that adds AI agent nodes. It can be self-hosted or used in the cloud, and its agents are built by connecting nodes on a visual canvas.
n8n is the strongest rival on running and oversight, and on billing. Its agent builder sits inside a general workflow tool, so the panel found less on how a tool is picked for a task than on how a workflow runs and is logged.
3. Gumloop: 350 of 400
No-code agent builder with a connector library. A no-code agent builder for teams, with a large connector library, scheduled and webhook triggers, and a credit balance shown inside chat.
Gumloop has a wide connector set, covering search, social and media tools. Its public pages describe a trial rather than a permanent free plan, and the visual builder is less clearly described than the agent setup.
4. Zapier Agents: 350 of 400
Agents built on the Zapier app library. AI agents built on the Zapier app library. Agents can be set up from a chat goal, and Zapier publishes an MCP server for outside assistants.
The app directory is broad for business tools, and the templates cover sales and support work. The panel found no search or SEO data app on the pages read, and less on how a scheduled agent is set to run.
5. Dify: 340 of 400
Open-source and hosted builder for LLM apps and agents. An open-source and hosted builder for LLM apps and agents, with a drag-and-drop workflow studio and a plugin marketplace.
Dify scores well on running and oversight, and its marketplace covers search, media and team messaging tools. Its public pages say credits cover model calls only, and some plugins need their own API key, so its billing is less clear.
6. Relevance AI: 330 of 400
Agent and workforce builder with a visual canvas. An agent and workforce builder with a visual canvas, scheduling, approval rules and an MCP connection for coding assistants.
It describes a clear build path from a plain-language description. Its pages name fewer data and social tools, and its pricing page lists an enterprise plan only, without prices.
7. Lindy: 320 of 400
No-code AI agents, called teammates, for business routines. No-code AI agents, which Lindy calls teammates, that run business routines on a schedule or an event.
Lindy is easy to start, with a free credit balance and a library of ready-made routines. The panel found no visual builder and no outside-agent connection on the pages read.
8. Stack AI: 290 of 400
No-code builder for AI workflows and agents. A no-code builder for AI workflows and agents, with a template library, a published integration catalog and an MCP server.
Its catalog includes an SEO data integration and a clear workflow canvas. The panel found no social or community platform in the entries it read, and no automatic tool choice.
9. CrewAI: 270 of 400
Multi-agent framework with a hosted platform. A multi-agent framework with a hosted platform and a no-code studio, sold as open source and as a managed service.
CrewAI publishes detailed run tracing and enterprise access controls. Its public pages list a free plan and an enterprise plan, and do not show how usage is billed across connected tools.
